Andrew on the Snowboard Rider Bar

Andrew, from Cincinnati, OH, was eager to try every piece of equipment until he found the one he loved. We tried a reverse walker, ski bike, bi-ski, and finally the snowboard with a rider bar! He chose the music to the slideshow, his favorite "Carol of the Bells" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Military Programs

I’ve been healing for a while now. Almost ten years to be exact. People like you and your team have been a huge part of that in a very short time. I truly appreciate it. Can’t wait to visit again!

Randall, U.S. Army SPC

It is reported that half a million veterans are suffering from PTSD, depression, and or TBI which are causing increases in family problems, drug abuse, and suicide. Participation in our group adaptive recreation programs have the ability to increase the success rates for those that suffer from both invisible and visible injuries after being deployed. The goals of our military programs are to help change the pattern of risk statistics in our clients by building bonds with other soldiers suffering from a similar trauma, as well as build bridges to cross over successfully into civilian life.

“I want to thank you for the hospitality and generosity you have shown myself as well as the rest of the veterans and our families. It was a remarkable experience that we will never forget. Trips such as this shift our attention from what we may view as no longer possible to what is possible, providing us with an ever increasingly optimistic view of our futures; and for that, no words will ever be enough. I am truly humbled by your generosity.”

– Mark, camp participant
