Jeremy began snowboarding at a young age in Pennsylvania and quickly fell in love with the sport.  Once he could drive he got a job teaching at the local hill to earn his ski pass and got his first teaching certification the next year. After high school was over in 2010 he moved to Colorado to ski some real mountains with hopes of riding in enough powder that he needed a snorkel.  That first year he got involved with STARS as a volunteer and found a whole new part of the snowsports world that had been previously unknown to him.  He had to learn to ski, found a new passion for helping others enjoy the mountains, and one year later was hired as a part-time instructor.  A few years later he signed on as a full-time instructor, has since gotten some new certifications, and now enjoys his role as STARS Program Manager. 

Why I love STARS…

The friends he has made over the years and helping others to experience and enjoy the freedom of being on the mountain in their own way.
