Laura “Lo” Ying is a Texas native who has been lucky enough to call Steamboat Springs home, since 2018. Since moving to Steamboat, Lo has worked for Steamboat Resort in events and sponsorships, where she was able to combine her passion for the outdoors with her expertise in creating memorable experiences. Additionally, Lo is a PSIA-AASI certified Snowsports instructor for the Resort, and has also had the joy of coaching for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, helping aspiring athletes reach their goals on the slopes. Before making the move to the mountains, Lo spent several years in New York City, where she honed her skills in the fast-paced advertising world, collaborating with notable clients such as Nissan, Booking.com and Visa. Lo holds a BA in Communications & Information Sciences from The University of Alabama where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013.

• My cat, Catrick, and I have lived in 3 states together. Fun fact: he once escaped on a plane!

• When I’m not sliding snow, you can find me reading, cooking, camping, hiking, or just playing outside in general.

• Tacos hold a special place in my heart (and stomach)—they're my all-time favorite food!
