For the past 5 years – and due to the overwhelming generosity of the late Gail Jensen - we have operated horseback riding at the STARS Equestrian Center at Zen Ranch located on Routt County Road 14E in Steamboat Springs, CO.  We enjoyed offering participants the opportunity to learn basic horsemanship, riding, grooming, tacking, and horse health and behavior.  STARS will be moving out of this facility in April 2026 and taking a pause on this programming while we research potential barn/arena locations and possibilities to start a new program during summer 2027.  If you have questions or ideas, please contact Susan Petersen at susan@steamboatstars.com
