Miah earned her Bachelors and Masters in Recreation Administration and Recreation Therapy, with a focus in Outdoor Recreation. Throughout her career she has directed adaptive summer camps, facilitated adaptive ropes courses, therapeutic horseback riding, and adaptive skiing. She completed her Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Internship with the United States Adaptive Recreation Center our of Big Bear, CA in 2021 and fell in love with skiing. Since then, she has become PSIA Adaptive Alpine Level 2 Certified.

• Was on the Cross Country Ski team and Dive team in high school.
